Healing Is Soul Integration

Preface by Linda Mihalic

Healing is the restoration to health or wholeness, to perfect balance, harmony and equilibrium, physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Healing is a process or an act that uses the spoken Word to facilitate movement from a lesser to a higher rate of vibration and state of consciousness. Healing is integration, the combining and coordinating of separate parts or elements into a unified whole. The true role of psychology in healing is to aid in the coordination of mental processes into a normal effective personality, or aid the soul in adjusting to its environment. Physical healing uses allopathic methods such as drugs and surgery or alternative methods, but both are processes by which the different parts of the physical are made functionally and structurally whole, especially through the activity of the nervous system and of hormones.

Healing, which is the return to wholeness, is usually assumed to apply to a person's physical or emotional/mental state; however, all healing must begin with regaining integrity of the soul; otherwise it will not be complete or lasting. Integrity of soul requires steadfast adherence to a code of ethical values, moral incorruptibility, and is the state of being complete or undivided. Integrity is the complete integration of mind, soul, and Spirit, a syzygy of consciousness. Integrity is a law of doing; you may act in an integrated way, in alignment with your Source of Being and thus inspire others to be confidant in you. Integrity is a law of being; when you have completely integrated all your scattered parts, you return to the state of wholeness that is being in perfect oneness with the All That Is.

All healing action begins with the desire to heal or to be healed. The first step is the thought of healing or health, which means "to become hale, whole, complete, integrated and pure." Healing is the name for the ascension process of regaining your original God-given integrity. Integrity is "the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; the state of being whole and undivided; the condition of being unified or sound in construction; internal consistency or lack of corruption."

From thinking, you progress to talking about healing or being healed. Speech is man's great creative tool. For God has given us the capacities of desire and of accessing His Computer Mind, which holds all thoughts as ideas and concepts. Conscious thinking is a dynamic creative act, and must precede your use of the spoken Word in imitation of your Creator and Source. On the Via Christa, two Scripture passages serve as the foundation of our shared creator status with our Maker:

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good." – Genesis 1:1-4.

In Genesis, the first chapter, we find that the first act of Creation was God, speaking the Word, "Let there be Light." Subsequently, we find that God followed each day's creation with the action of seeing that it was good and very good.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not." – John 1:1-5.

John's Gospel opens by stating that the Word was first, was with God, and was God. God spoke the Word to make everything, and the life that was and still is in the Word, is the Light of God.

To heal or to be healed, you must have Light. To heal or to be healed, you must speak the Word. To heal or to be healed, you must declare that the person or condition is good and very good. Neither medicine nor surgery heals. God is the great Healer through His Light, which moves forth on the spoken Word, yours for another or another's for you. Speaking the Word releases God's Light, which vitalizes desire and faith, yours or another's. By your faith's strength, resilience, stability, and tenacity, you are healed or enabled to speak the Word for another.
