The Via Christa: The Soul’s Path of Destiny

You are here, on earth, but this does not feel like home. You search, but cannot seem to find what you really want here. You yearn, knowing some perfect reality exists, one in which your soul will mesh in a seamless fit, but it escapes you.

Home is in the Source of Reality, God. Some seekers have found the Way of the Christ, the Via Christa, which is the most direct way to return home to God. Although this is the shortest, fastest way, it is the hardest because it is the initiatory Path of Ascension of consciousness, filled with many tests, trials, and temptations.

The Via Christa site is the answer to a child’s question, asked long ago: “What are the rules? It would be so much easier if I knew what the rules are!” Children ask the best questions, and the hardest, because their truth detectors usually still work well. So, let us begin at the beginning, for the children and for our own idealistic souls.

God is Light, externalized as form. Law describes the nature of the Light, which is God, and how Light is differentiated into innumerable living souls. Law is the framework of Creation, and describes the infinite modes of form, all of which are made of Light. The branch of philosophy which treats of God is called theology. Moral laws define the nature of your relationship with your Source, which is God, the Light. Laws govern the nature of your vertical relationship with God, and your horizontal relationships with your fellow man, the creatures of land, sea and air, and with our planet.

“Law is the roadbed, guardrails, and signs on the Way of Ascension.”

Where life does not proceed according to the Rule of Universal Divine Law, the result is without structure or form, void, the destructive chaos of confusion. Life without law is a body without a skeleton, unable to rise above the muck that nourishes protozoa. A culture not founded on law is an anarchy, ruled by a mob, or a dictatorship, ruled by the whim of a tyrant.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.…And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”—John 1:1,14.

The Word is the Christ, and the Way of the Word is the Via Christa, the Way of Christ, which has existed since before God created the universe and gave man dominion over the earth. A “way” is defined as “a method, style or manner of doing something, a particular manner or style of behavior.” A way is also a route or road that you take in order to reach a place. The Via Christa is all these things and more.

“Christ” is a Greek term, originally Khristos, meaning “anointed.” Religions, ancient and modern, apply this term literally, and ritually anoint with fragrant oils to symbolize the divine blessing. Yet this misses the point that the Father anointed His First Begotten Son Jesus with Light, to be the emissary and servant of His Light.

While the Via Christa unifies the moral and ethical foundation that our patriarchs, prophets, and philosophers have discovered and described through the ages, it is also the way of honor, of loyalty to God, and how to reach complete integrity of soul. To walk the Via Christa is to discover God’s Design for Ascension of consciousness for you, your loved ones, the world, and for the whole universe. In walking the Via Christa, Light resurrects the soul of the laws you find in the Bible—the Gospels, Epistles, philosophy, and other sacred writings—to make them part of your way of ascension.

As you discover that law is the roadbed, guardrails and signs on the Way of Ascension, you may seek, find and apply the Christ laws in your life today. No matter what, no one else may dictate how you choose to do this, because God has given you the matchless gift of freedom to choose your own way.

Design for Ascension of consciousness.”—Edna Lister

The entire Via Christa site is a How to Manual for Soul Ascension and Conquering the Self. You will find answers to who and what you really are, how you arrived here, your life’s purpose, how to go home, and what you need to do to get there. If you are willing to work to heal and integrate yourself, you can find the tools here to work on problems with love, relationships, money, health, loss, anxiety, issues of trust and betrayal, all the perplexities of life on earth.

Just as learning styles vary from child to child, so they do from soul to soul. Some like to begin with the rules and a plan, others just want to live the adventure of life without a map. If you want to read the rules first, before you devise a plan, start with the Via Christa Laws. If you desire to live life on the Via Christa as an unplanned adventure, start with the Via Christa Life. Here you will find the Subjects we cover on the Via Christa.

You can always change your approach, increase and focus your application of will and desire, and thus accelerate your rate of ascension. Man first surpassed the speed of sound in 1947, when pilot Chuck Yeager broke the sound barrier. Today the pioneers in astronautical engineering seek a way to travel faster than the speed of light. On the Via Christa, we approach reality differently, striving to ignore the appearance of things to experience superliminal reality while traveling at the speed of soul, which is infinitely faster than the speed of light. Join us on the Way.

The Via Christa is and forever will remain a work in progress. The resources we provide are by no means exhaustive, and we revise and expand them continually.

The Laws of the Crown

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever.—Hebrews 13:8.

In that day shall the Lord of hosts be for a Crown of Glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people, and for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.—Isaiah 28:5-6.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a Crown of Righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.—2 Timothy 4:7-8.

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the Crown of Life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.—James 1:12.

When the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a Crown of Glory that fadeth not away.—1 Peter 5:4.

Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a Crown of Life.—Revelation 2:10.

There appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a Crown of Twelve Stars.—Revelation 12:1.
