Balance

As a law of doing, balance is defined as "to weigh a matter, to estimate the two aspects or sides of anything, to ponder; to counterbalance or counterpoise one thing by, with, or against another, to bring to or keep in equilibrium; to compensate, neutralize the effect of, make up for, to settle an account by paying an amount due, to clear off a liability."

As a law of being, balance means "the power to decide or determine, authoritative control, that which balances, or produces equilibrium; general harmony between the parts of anything, stability or steadiness due to the equilibrium prevailing between all the forces of any system; equipoise of mind, character, or feelings, equanimity, mental composure, sanity."

“Soul ascension requires you to be balanced in all ways.”

Balance is internal poise and equilibrium in your service to God and to your fellow man. Balance is how living souls participate in the universal equilibrium. You must balance the scales of life, personally and within your sphere of influence, as you are able. You must become and remain balanced in emotions, thoughts, words, and deeds; this, in turn, creates physical balance.

You came forth from the divine equilibrium, and are here to create harmony, which you return to God as balance. Balance is an abstract principle, a law of being, rooted in the principle of nonresistance, a law of doing, and a virtue. Balance is the keynote of the third lesser trinity of the Via Christa, which includes the Degrees of the Eye of God, Simplicity and Sincerity.
