The Christ Laws for Today

By Linda Mihalic

Christ Laws are the laws governing the ascension of soul consciousness from the crudest creature in human form to full soul-comprehension among those who have attained the mind that was in Christ Jesus (Philippians 2:5, 1 Corinthians 2:16, Romans 12:2). You can use what you find here as a basis for studying the rules that govern the personal, religious, moral, business and social aspects of your life. We include certain non-standard teachings to disturb complacency and to encourage curiosity.

“Principle is the absolute, universal, unchangeable, undeviating immutable foundation upon which all universes are based and established.”–Edna Lister

Some laws are absolute, but most are relative. Many laws are abstract, but many more are concrete. Absolute and abstract laws are metaphysical in nature, meaning that they deal with the study of being as reality, and “the nature of reality, including the relationship between mind and matter, substance and attribute, fact and value,” and “questions that are unanswerable to scientific observation, analysis, or experiment.”–American Heritage Dictionary
Absolute principle is pure, whole, perfect and complete; however, in the moment that absolute principle is extended into the manifest Creation as its guiding principle, it becomes subject to interpretation by the lesser minds within the relative Creation and thus subject to interpretations that are imperfect, impure, partial, and incomplete. Thus, every absolute principle may become many lesser abstract principles and relative laws of being and of doing throughout the unguessable dimensions of the universe.
Being is all that God is as potential Wisdom, Love and Power. In dealing with “being” as it applies to spiritual laws, we are concerned with states of consciousness, which are states of being. Doing implies action and is kinetic as to its thinking, sustaining, and activity, which is derived from being. You must obey many laws of doing in order to become what God meant you to be, that is, to fulfill the laws of being. I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.–Genesis 17:1
We find the names of ten absolute principles in these scripture passages:
“The LORD by wisdom founded the earth; by understanding He established the heavens. By His knowledge the depths were broken up, and the skies drop down the dew. My son, let not them depart from thine eyes; keep sound wisdom and discretion.”–Proverbs 3:19-21
“Through wisdom is a house builded; and by understanding it is established; and by knowledge are the chambers filled with all precious and pleasant riches. A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.”–Proverbs 24:3-5.
“Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty; for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is Thine; Thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and Thou art exalted as head above all.”–1 Chronicles 29:11
The following lists are by no means exhaustive. You may find many more examples in Scripture, and by using the Topics tab above.
